Men of grace

Hi Last week I gave two talks at groups in Oldham. One of them had two men there and they were the first to buy dolls when I had finished and both said how much they had enjoyed my talk, which was a relief as I do have a little dig at men! Plus I sold a doll for a lady belonging to the group who will be 100 soon, showing you are never to old for a doll!

I have had interesting conversations about which Mary washed Jesus’ feet and dried them with her hair. It was Mary of Bethany whom my Mary doll is named after, however some people think it was Mary Magdalene.

When I was at ECG last month I started a trade in extra outfits for some of my little customers. These will now be included and sell for £5.00 for any dress and cardigan. I have also decided today to make nighties, as one of my little girls wanted a change of clothes for her doll to go to bed in – bless. So watch this space.

I will be at the ECG Day at the Sunderland Stadium of Light on July 12th, hope to see you. Valerie
